In my pictorial practice, I populate my universe with hybrid beings evoking tales, myths, animals and monsters. Developing my universe into anthropomorphism, I create poetic images made of embraces, struggles, entanglements of body, and these are revealed by a work of vertical “dripping”. The impacts form black abrasions are the starting point of my work. From them, I compose : I trace and define with the willingness to create powerful images. From my aerial and nervous black features, which are part of an instinctive gesture, primitive organisms arise, testifying to a transient and fragile condition of life. In this collision of spontaneous images, I wish to assert a free figurative expression by drawing on my interiority. My artistic preoccupation is to witness the poetry and tragedy of the living world, and the gap between personal mythologies and the experience of life.
